The main character of the thriller "Deep Sleep" is a talented and promising detective Philippe Marlowe. He is hired by an old General Stanwood in order to find out the fate of the missing husband of his eldest daughter. Once the son-in-law was a bootlegger, and the general thinks that this is what his disappearance is connected with. But the detective discovers even more interesting moments and reveals the secrets of the family, which were previously for the general for seven seals.
